Due to Covid-19, we lost one of our favorite producers, Don Manuel Centeno. This was the first relationship-coffee Reprise undertook and has been the catalyst for so many amazing relationships that are going strong today. We are honored to provide to you the last lot his hands have touched.
The loss of Don Manuel was impactful for his family of two young children & his wife, Yesenia, whom was left to solely tend to not only their coffee crops but their other produce on their land. We love this family’s coffee & it was an easy decision to purchase the entirety of their export this year to support this, now, single-mother family. We believe you can taste all of the passion & love it took to make this coffee possible. Expect rounded notes of craft chocolate, roasted nuts & subtle fruit notes that bring this coffee depth & complexity.
