a little coffee story: our company started small. we began inside the walls of a train station in the suburbs… on the quiet side of town. we had one goal - to make a positive impact through Specialty coffee - no matter how small. our friendship with Gold Mountain Coffee Growers(A social enterprise for specialty coffee based in matagalpa, nicaragua) later evolved into a partnership that helped realize this mission.

today we are excited to have the opportunity to continue this endeavor outside of nicaragua. kati’s family began the first coffee farms in esquipulas, guatemala. for many years this farm solely produced commodity market coffee - but several years ago, kati’s cousin, raul solis Paiz decided to create a small section for specialty. while he didn’t have a market for it at the time, we believe that this passion for coffee led us to re-connect & become the catalyst for OPPORTUNITY.

Over a decade has now passed since our inception. we have decided to setup a permanent home in evanston, illinois where we have embraced our community - hoping to bring everyone a little taste of the love we have experienced so far from home.
