Are your coffees organic?

The farms we source from are operating FAR BEYOND organic standards. They use natural production methods and continually work to enhance the health of the earth and local waterways. this helps the farmers ensure excellent yield for many years to come.

Here’s the thing, “organic” is a concept that was created when industry ruined agriculture. In countries like Nicaragua, farmers don’t have to label their land as “organic” because… well… it always has been. In fact, most farmers in Central America don’t even know there’s any other way. It’s hella expensive to get an organic certification, as is buying non-organic chemical inputs. Our farm partners don’t mess with either.

Is Direct Trade better than Fair Trade?

100% YES. One of our partner farmers said, “fair trade isn’t allowing me to feed my family.”

Again, fair trade is a marketing certification that has proven to not actually be fair in many cases. Direct trade gives us a direct relationship with farmers, so we can know how much money goes into their pockets and if it’s truly allowing them to live a dignified life.

Do you offer free local shipping?

Yes! Free local shipping to Evanston, Wilmette, Winnetka, and Glencoe. You’ll see a free local shipping option during checkout.

If you live in chicago, you can choose in-store pickup during checkout, and pick up your order at our Avondale or Evanston Cafes—free of shipping costs!

When will my online order ship?

All online orders will ship Wednesday or Thursday—as we roast our beans freshly every Tuesday. All orders placed before Monday 11:59pm will ship that same week. All orders placed after Monday 11:59pm will ship the following week.

When will my online/in-store pickup order be ready?

Please allow a couple days for your order to be ready for in-store pickup. We will send you an email as soon as it’s ready for you.

If I buy beans online to be picked up in store, will you grind them for me?

If you want us to, absolutely. During the checkout process, you should see a form field indicating if you’d like your beans ground and how you’d like them ground (fine, medium, course). If you don’t see it, please feel free to send us an email after you place the order: info@reprisecoffee.com.

When will my monthly subscription ship?

Since we freshly roast beans every Tuesday, we ship orders on Wednesdays and Thursdays. All subscription orders placed before Monday 11:59pm will ship that same week. All orders placed after Monday 11:59pm will ship the following week.

Going forward, You can expect your monthly subscription to arrive around the same time every month, based on the time of month you initially signed up.

You can login to your account at any time to review your orders and see orders on the way.

Can I change my coffee selection each month?

At this time, the coffee you select when you sign up will be the same coffee you receive every month.

Can I cancel my monthly subscription?

We ask that you keep your subscription for at least 3 months since we offer a generous 50% off your first subscription payment. If you are not satisfied with the subscription before the 3 month mark, consider gifting those magical beans to someone you care about!

When you place your first subscription order, you will be prompted to create an account on our website. You can cancel your subscription within your account.
