Finca Idealista is the flagship farm for Gold Mountain Coffee Growers. Through coffee sales from this farm - we are in turn able to provide premiums for coffee farm workers, health care, schooling & other social benefits. Gold Mountain is a social enterprise that has a sole purpose to provide equity to the people that need it most, the coffee farmers & workers. People are intentionally hired over using equipment & the quality is elevated by consequence. This coffee was sorted by hand - relieving it from any defective or non-uniform beans.

Carbonic Maceration is a wine processing technique that the coffee industry has embraced over the past several years. The long fermentation times (a whopping 240 hours in this case) has the ability to create textures & flavors within the coffee that are not normally experienced otherwise. The combination of this technique accompanied with high quality varietals leaves us with a clean cup bursting with orange & tropical citrus notes & florals. The acidity is lively & mouthfeel is soft. The lower elevation of this coffee lends itself to incredible espresso, so bust out your La Marzocco for this one.
